I suppose you probably already have it in your roadmap, but the Styles panel would benefit from being able to generate style for the currently selected element in source-view too.
I'm also maybe Windows-fashioned but I feel it disturbing not to have an option to "dock" the panels like in Visual Studio.
BlueGriffon is a nice wyswig editor, anyway. The source view isn't as powerful as the one of Notepad++ but the program is quite great. Just dislike the win2000 gray menu ahead of vista-like blue toolbars ahead of a win95-style tab row. It all looks quite ugly with the Windows 7 theme. I switched BlueGriffon to use Win2000 skin using the compatibility settings, and it was already much better. At least everything is coherent.
Also, not sure it's the best place to report it, but it seems your syntax highlighter as difficulites with - (dashes) in html comments.

François
It looks like the debian package has some problems: it says the version is 0.8, and it doesn't install in the "Development" menu.
I think it should have a bluegriffon.desktop file in /usr/share/applications/ with a line like "Categories=Application;GTK;Development;IDE;" (and a "MimeType=..." line).
@Yann I am not a *deb expert, I'll do better for next version
Fedora users could install RPM available in my little repository :
http://blog.famillecollet.com/post/...
RPM are available for fedora 13 and 14, 32 and 64 bits (more builds will probably come later).
Remi.
The warning from 0.8
"warning, install the http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/... Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable package if you hit an "application configuration is incorrect" error launching BlueGriffon after install ;"
Is still relevant here for windows XP. Just in case anyone else runs into the error =)
It never hurts to be well-informed with the latest on BlueGriffon. Compare what you've learned here to future articles so that you can stay alert to changes in the area of BlueGriffon.
