CSS-based Layouts
17:49 - By BlueGriffon - Progress - 3 comments
I have some great news : I got formal authorization from Yahoo! to add YUI-based CSS Layouts to BlueGriffon. Let me thank Yahoo! (and in particular Nate Koechley and Christian Heilmann) and then Jake Myers, the guy behind the famous http://layouts.ironmyers.com. The first visible result is the new "New page wizard" that is not checked in yet. See below a very early screenshot of that wizard. Warning, the UI is not at all finalized.

Great news! That will make it much easier for beginners to get started.
Dear Developers,
I'm very happy to see Blue Griffon focus more on CSS than tables.
Please take a few minutes to look at this video:
http://www.tentonbooks.com/videos/D...
The video basically shows the "drag and drop" CSS div capabilities in Dreamweaver.
It's kind of like how NVU handles drag and drop tables.
My question is...Has Blue Griffon been designed with the above "drag and drop" wysiwyg CSS capabilities in mind? Or would this be an after thought?
Thank You,
Darlene
Looks a good resource. I wonder how much freedom you have to customise it. I looked at one layout only and found one - probably two - errors. (e.g. one id appeared twice!!)
