- built on XP Pro, contains xulrunner 1.9.1b1pre
- if you already installed a previous version of BlueGriffon, it's better to clobber the application data, so please delete directory
c:\Documents and Settings\<login>\Application Data\Disruptive Innovations SARL\BlueGriffon - just unzip in a newly created dir to install (remove that dir to uninstall)

Tested BlueGriffon on my old Win98SE computer. Did not work: "Couldn´t load XPCOM". What are the minimal system req. for BG? Win XP?
Here the path to my application data folder is C:\Documents and Settings\<login>\Local Settings\Application Data\Disruptive Innovations SARL\BlueGriffon.

As it is based on 1.9.1 gecko source code, the minimal windows would be Windows 2000. Windows 95/98/Me and NT4 are no longer supported.

Are there any hacks one can use to make gecko 1.9 to work on Win98, or am I doomed? I dont´t want to change OS just to run "gecko stuff". My old comp. still serves me very well.

just installed it on my windows xp sp2 machine, runs correctly (takes a while to load though). First try goes ok, but
- the dropdown menus Edit, Insert, Format, Table. on the main toolbar do not show anything . Maybe they're just not implemented yet?
- "insert table quickly" mode does not work: it does not record the mouse click to end the cells selection.
- i typed some dummy title, selected "heading 1" and the html created contains a @ sign : <h1 @style="font-family: monospace;"> . Although the @sign disappears magically if i save the file.
- how can i edit the html code directly? would be nice to be able to switch views directly, via tabs
Let me know if there are special things to test.

installed on win xp2002 sp2 load in few sec
same as pixeline :
- the dropdown menus Edit, Insert, Format, Table. on the main toolbar do not show anything
- i got 2 tabs and the code part show only the first page's html even if i click on the other tab :/
- in the code part, i can't edit the title attribute and there's no /title at the end
- the close button for tabs doesn't work
